This was taken at Wrigley Field today, looking at a souvenir shop across the street. And I have to tell them sorry, but I’m a Cubs fan. That’s hard enough, believe me, without having to encounter this sort of thing.
Cubby was the goofy kid on the Mickey Mouse club back in the 1950s. Why anyone would want his shirt is beyond me. Cubs shirts are one thing, but “Cubby” shirts are something else altogether. None for me, thanks.
I hate the word too.
I have never used that word on my blog before just because it sounds so stupid.
It is stupid. That must explain why so many people use it.
