Score one for the union

The NFL gets their “real” refs back today, along with a lesson in what happens when you try to use cheap replacement labor. But the NFL somehow gets to escape any criticism for trying to break the union to begin with. That doesn’t fit with the prevailing media narrative in this country, I guess.

The integrity of the product that the NFL sells every weekend took a huge hit because the replacement refs were in over their heads. So the “real” refs held together and forced the NFL to back down, I can only assume. There’s a real lesson to be learned there, if only our media was interested in telling it.
