I’ve written about Van Halen several times in this space, and with good reason. I listened to a lot of their music in high school and college, and I’ve never really lost my appreciation for their sound. I hope that I never will, either.
So when I received Guitar Hero: Van Halen for a Christmas gift this year, I was very happy, indeed. I have the Aerosmith version already, but my appreciation for their music pales in comparison to Van Halen’s. And since Activision has stopped making new Guitar Hero titles, this is as good as it’s going to get for me. I’m just fine with that, actually.
Hopefully everyone got a present for the holidays that they like as much as I like this one.
